This website marks a great revival of ancient Vedic knowledge
by His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. The implications of this
knowledge are profound for everyone. The purpose of this book
is to provide an understanding of this Vedic knowledge and its
implications for human life. The instruments of the Maharishi
Vedic Observatory are described under subsections entitled "Traditional
Use and Description." The theory that supports the anticipated
type of effects, drawing on the most recent discoveries of modern
scientists and ancient Vedic Science as revived by Maharishi,
is presented throughout these materials, and with reference to
specific instruments in the subsections entitled "Vedic
Influence--the View of Maharishi Vedic Science." Modern
Western scientific research has not, to our knowledge, been conducted
on the performance, efficacy, or specific effects of these instruments,
and we encourage rigorous research in this field.
It should be noted that the specific anticipated influences
and effects of the Maharishi Vedic Observatory on individuals
undoubtedly will vary and are dependent on the unique qualities
of the observing individual's nervous system. Therefore, no particular
results or benefits should be expected, predicted, or represented
concerning these effects. Nothing in these materials should be
construed otherwise. It is the view of Maharishi Vedic ScienceSM that these effects, however subtle
or subjectively experienced, are profoundly balancing and evolutionary
and bring life into closer accord with all the Laws of Nature.
